Website for tradespeople

Your website keeps working – even while you're on site.

A website for tradespeople that gets found in your area, shows your work and collects requests for on-site visits – while you're busy on the job. As a ready-made package, hosted in Germany and looked after for good.

What trade businesses need online. And no time for more.

Customers search for “electrician near me”, not for your company name. If you don't show up then, you don't get the job.

Trades package

A package built like a good job.

Trade businesses almost always need the same things: services, references, service area and a quick way to get in touch. The concept for that is ready – so you pay less than for a completely new design.

Tradespeople in detail

Why a profile alone isn't enough

A website for tradespeople doesn't compete with other websites so much as with the phone, the neighbour and the directory portal. Many trade businesses live on recommendations – and that's exactly why a website of your own pays off: people who've heard your name search for it and want to see within seconds that you do reliable work, cover their town and are taking on jobs right now.

A profile on a portal only goes so far. There you sit next to your competitors, the portal sets the rules, and requests often go to several businesses at once. Your own website belongs to you, shows only your work and sends requests only to you.

One page per service – and why Google cares

Customers rarely search for "tradesperson". They search for "fix gutter Pulheim", "electrician wallbox Cologne" or "accessible bathroom renovation". Google prefers to show pages that cover exactly that topic. That's why the trades package gives every important service its own page: what you do, how a job runs, a few photos from real projects and a clear way to send a request.

That's not an SEO trick, just good order. Customers find what they're looking for faster – and Google understands what you're the right address for.

Google Business Profile and reviews

For searches with a place in them, Google shows a map with three businesses at the top. Whether you appear there depends mostly on your Google Business Profile: the right category, service area, opening hours, photos and reviews. We set up the profile, link it to your website and make sure your name, address and phone number are written the same way everywhere.

We can't write reviews for you – and shouldn't. But we show you how to ask for one politely after a job well done, for example with a short link you send by message.

Requests you can plan

On site, the phone always rings at the worst moment. So the website collects requests in a form you can deal with later, in peace: the job, the place, a preferred time window for the visit and a callback number. If you'd rather hand out fixed slots, online booking can be added too. Both land straight in your inbox, not with a portal.

Blog or references? What actually helps

A blog only works if it's filled regularly. For most businesses, references are the better start: a photo of the result, two sentences on the job, the town. That shows skill and gives Google exactly the local terms people search for. If you want to write more, you can add a news section later – the calculator below shows what that costs.

Built for a phone on site

Most requests start on the move: someone stands in front of a dripping pipe, searches on their phone and calls the first business that looks trustworthy. That's why your website is built for smartphones first. The phone number can be tapped on every page, the request form fits on one screen, and photos load quickly even on a weak signal. On a laptop everything still looks tidy.

After launch we take care of hosting, updates and monitoring. If the site is ever down, we notice – not your customers.

Legal notice and the law

If your business is in Germany and your trade requires a licence, the responsible chamber of crafts and your entry in the trade register (Handwerksrolle) belong in the legal notice, along with details such as your VAT ID if you have one. We build in a template and fill it with your details – that's no substitute for legal advice. How we build and run websites in general is explained on the website development page. Whether the package suits your business is best settled in a free first call.

Frequently asked questions.

Do I need a blog?

Not necessarily. A blog or news section helps with Google if you report on projects regularly. If you don't have time for that, good service pages serve you better. The calculator below shows what a blog adds.

How do customers in my area find me?

Through three things: separate pages for your services that name your town, a well-kept Google Business Profile and reviews from real customers. We set up the first two; you collect the reviews – and we show you how to ask for them politely.

Can I add references myself?

With a simple content editor, yes – you can add one in the calculator. Without one, you send us photos and two sentences and we put them up.

What does the website cost per month?

The monthly amount for hosting, SSL, updates and monitoring is shown in the package above. Ongoing SEO support after launch is an extra the calculator shows.

Can content from my old website be moved over?

Yes. We take over the texts and photos from your old website and revise them where needed; you can also send us new texts and photos at any time. We redirect old addresses to the new pages so visitors and search engines find them again.

Does my trade register entry belong in the legal notice?

If your business is in Germany and your trade requires a licence, the responsible chamber of crafts and your entry in the trade register (Handwerksrolle) belong in the legal notice. We build in the details you give us – this isn't legal advice.
